Marietta of WilhelminaM Design is a self taught artist and surface designer.
She has always loved to make things. Her favorite memories are sitting under the dining table hand sewing or drawing while her mum zoomed away at our clothes or tinkering in her dad’s shed with his carpenter’s tools. Rather than play with toys she preferred to sew them clothes or build them small furniture. Having a project on the go is her mindfulness.
Most of her designs are in watercolor, she also enjoy life drawing, still life, sketching and portraits. Rather than traditional washed out watercolor Marietta prefers bold and loaded watercolor and high contrast in her palettes.
